Completion of the course Deutsch A1 proves that you have acquired basic language skills and correspond to the first level (A1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). On completion of Deutsch A1, you can understand and use everyday expressions and simple sentences.
What do you learn in Deutsch A1 level?
- introduce yourself and others, ask everyday questions and answer them for e.g. where do you come from, where do you live, the people you know, or the things you own.
- communicate in a simple way, if the persons you are talking to, speak slowly and clearly and are prepared to help you.
